Labaik Ya Zahra organised the 4th Annual Seminar on the occasion of the birth of the 12th Imam, Imam Mahdi (aj) on 25th August 2008 at Islamic centre of England, London. The Seminar presided by the Head of the Islamic Centre of England, Ayatollah Agha Abdul Hussain Moize. Chief Guest was Dr Liaqat Malik, Chairman DM Digital TV global Network. The High Commissioner of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr Wajid Shamsul Hassan was the Special Guest of Honour.
 
Syeda Umme Farwa (Founder- Labaik Ya Zahra) explained in her opening speech that according to the Quran, Imamat or Khalafat is given by God to the nominated persons. She added that it is the responsibility of the nation to look at the Imam’s practice under the light of the Qur’an and seek knowledge for there own life. Syeda Umme Farwa finally elaborated upon Labaik-Ya-Zahra’s long term ambitions.
 
  Ayatollah Abdul Hussain Moizee (Head- Islamic Centre of England) stressed upon the importance of this time while the Ummah is waiting for the Imam Mahdi (aj) to recognise the duties and responsibilities as well as to promote positive practice. He also appreciated the efforts of Labaik Ya Zahra’s founder Syeda Umme Farwa, her husband Ali Iffi and all members.
 
Dr Liaqat Malik (Chairman of DM Digital Network) stressed upon the importance of unity amongst Muslims and stated if Muslims are separated, it will result in their enemies strengthening. He pointed out to the audience that events like the one being held today, reflects upon the unity and true message of Islam, not only for Europe, but Pakistan as well. He concluded his speech by discouraging extremism and claimed he frowns upon the recent extremist action in Pakistan. He praised all the efforts of Labaik-Ya-Zahra’s founder Syeda Umme Farwa in holding events like these.
 
Mr. Wajid Shamsul Hassan (High Commissioner of Pakistan) stated that the action of one as a Muslim should not portray hate or pain, but it should deliver a positive message, which is love and forgiveness. He recognised and praised the programmes by DM Digital and Labaik-Ya-Zahra as they portray the correct message of Islam.
 
 
Moulana Zafar Abbas (President- Majilis-Ullama-e-Shia-Europe) said that in the last era, which we must perform our duties and responsibilities according to the will of God, not what pleases us and makes us happy. He also strongly condemned the terrorism and extremism in Pakistan.
 
Peer Syed Muzamil Hussain Jammati also praised the efforts by Labaik-Ya-Zahra and stated there is no confliction about Imam Mahdi (as) appearing and him being from the Ahlul-Bayt. He also pointed out that the world is holding because of the preaching and teaching of the Ahlul-Bayt. 
 
Peer Syed Khizar Hussain Chishti (Naib Ameer Jammat-e-Ahle-Sunnat Pakistan) expressed his love for the last Prophet, Mohammed (saw) and his family and described Imam Hassan (as) and Hussain (as) as the light of the eyes of Jama’at-e- Ahle Sunnat. He also recited some poetry dedicated to Imam Hussain (as).
 
Molana Jaffer Najm elaborated upon the importance of the Imam of our time and stated that the world is never led without a rightful leader.
 
            At the end, Labaik Ya Zahra shields and awards were distributed to the guests and the students of Labaik Ya Zahra.
 
             Syed Safdar Rizvi (Editor–Khair ul Amal) was awarded for their best services for the Shia community with the publishing of weekly khair ul Amal. The best parent’s award was given to Mr & Mrs Hussain .whereas Amir DeMartenio and Amir Maherdad Khusravi were awarded for their best cooperation. The ticket for Ziaraat of Syria was won by Aminah from Cardiff. Winner Trophy of Ma’asomeen Quiz 2008 awarded to Nusrat Ali & Naila Ali from Newport, Wales.  
 
On this occasion, special Dua’a was recited for the father of Ali Iffi for his first death anniversary.
