TU NISA EL AALAMEEN CONFERENCE 2007
Labaik Ya Zahra
(sa) organised the 3rdAnnual Syeda Tu Nisa El Aalameen
Conference 2007 to celebrate the
birth of the holiest lady of Islam, Lady Fatima Zahra Syeda (sa)
based on the character and life of their beloved Bibi (sa) and how she
spread the message of Islam through her noble character. The conference
held on Saturday 7th July 2007, in the Islamic Centre of
England, London.
Labaik-Ya-Zahra
aspired to use that opportunity to shed light about Bibi Syeda Zahra (sa)
and to increase peoples’ knowledge, through the valuable topics that were
discussed. There were also discussions on how women should act according
to their rights, responsibilities.
The Conference presided by Hujatul-Islam-Wal-Muslimeen Agha Abdul
Hussain Moizee (Head Islamic Centre of England). Lord Nazir
Ahmed was the chief Guest. And Mrs Salma Yaqoob (vice Chairperson, Respect
Party .U.K), Agha Hassan Raza Ghaderee, REV.Frank Gille, Maulana Jafar Ali
Najm(Sakina Trust,London) were thw guest Og Honors.Syeda Umme Farwa
(Founder, Labaik Ya Zahra Youth) deliver the opening speech for the
Conference 2007.There were also many other guests invited to the
conference who all delivered a speech.

Hujjat ul Islam
wal muslemeen Agha Moizee reflected upon the life of Lady Fatima (sa) and
the importance of adapting her role in all areas of life today. He
explained that Lady Fatima (sa) should be the role-model for Muslim women
today and that her footsteps should be followed to succeed in this life
and the here-after. He also said that the name of BiBi Fatima Zahra (s.a)
is like a water of immortality. He also extremely appreciated the
efforts of labaikyazahra’s youth.
This speech was
followed by the speech of the chief guest, Lord Nazir Ahmed, who stressed
upon the concept of marriage and due respect for women in Islam in their
new household using the examples of how the Holy Prophet Mohammed (pbuh)
asked for his daughter’s permission before getting her married and the
respect given by the husband of Bibi Fatima (sa), Imam Ali (as).
Syeda Umme-Farwa, founder of Labaik-Ya-Zahra’s message in
her opening speech was to focus upon nurturing today’s youth to equip them
with the tools which include knowledge and understanding of Islamic
Shariat and to educate today’s women as they are the nurturers of the
generations of tomorrow. She explained that the Lady Fatima (sa) should be
taken as the centre-point for all women to practice and adapt their
lifestyles according to her teachings.
She then thanked
the honourable guests, the audience and all the members of her
organisation who all made contributions to the conference. The founder
also special thanked Hujjat ul islam wal muslemeen Agha Abdul Hussain
Moezee for his great efforts for the Islamic nation through his literature
which is a mean of knowledge for the new generation. She lastly thanked
honourable guest, Abrar Shah of Abbott Travels who donated a ticket to
visit the holy shrines of some of the Holy Prophet’s (pbuh) family in
Syria. The winner of the ticket was chosen through a raffle.

Mrs Salma Yaqub
(vice-chairperson) for the Respect Party,U.K. from Birmingham talked about
the status of women according to Islam and how women can actively take
part in front-line services whilst keeping up with the laws of the Shariat
and get their voice heard. She also stated how terrorism is always linked
to Islam by the media and some of the public whereas it actually means
peace. She also discussed the womens’ role of being a daughter, wife and
mother with accordance to Islam.
Reverent Father Frank Gelli representing the Christian community
spoke about how happy he was to see not only Muslims together, but
believers themselves together. He contributed his thoughts on importance
of role-models in most religions and talked about Fatima (sa).

The Imam of the
Sakina Trust mosque, Maulana Jafar Ali Najm praised the efforts made by
Labaik-Ya-Zahra in the organisation of the conferences and encouraging the
youth to take part in motives provided by Syeda Umme Farwa.
Ayat Ullah
Hassan Raza Ghadiree, also highlights on the life of Syeda Fatima
Zahra(s.a). Asma Hussain and Ali Iffi were the stage secretary of
Conference 2007..
The young
members of Labaik Ya Zahra performed plays about some of the Islamic
stories and recited religious poetry to the audience. 
Shields and
presents were presented to the guests on appreciation for their time.
Children were given prizes for taking part and for the
competition held for the specific occasion which was essay writing,
painting and Islamic calligraphy. Anam (Manchester) declared the
1st in essay writing while Aliya Shah
(Watford) and Zainab Hussain (East London) 1st in Calligraphy
and painting.
Farwa
Batool Kazmi (East London) won the Zayarat ticket to Syria by abbot
Travels.
Overall, the conference was a major success and it was prayed
that may God help those who try to fulfil the aim of the organisation,
which is to educate our daughters young minds so that they too my flourish
in the teaching of Bibi Zahra (sa).
